The residential and business data enables the RDOF auction participant to anticipate the likely number of physical broadband connections, including their location, within a market area. It is critically important not to double-count home-based businesses, which are likely to leverage a single internet subscription. It is also important to realistically assess the bandwidth needs of larger organizations, based on employees, floors space, and industry.
